Ibadan Court breaks down 21-year-old marriage over spouse’s refusal

 

A Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan, Oyo State on Thursday, September 17, broken down a 21-year-old marriage between a painter, Ojo Ayeni and his better half, Sade, over her refusal to prepare nourishment for her family for a long time.

Ayeni had before moved toward the court to break down the association, claiming that spouse quit cooking for him and his three kids in 2018.

While affirming, Ayeni said that whenever he revealed her to her folks and relatives, Sade never paid attention to him.

“My ruler, the issue even exacerbated when Sade began taunting me at whatever point she sees me cooking for the kids. Actually, she currently gets back extremely late in the night and has caused incredible division in the home. I have built up a High Blood Pressure thus and I would not have any desire to take steps to self improvement,” ayeni said.

Reacting, Sade, had a problem with the separation suit and denied a portion of the charges leveled against her.

“Truly. I concede that I quit preparing my significant other’s dinners since he blamed me for attempting to harm the food,” Sade said.

Conveying judgment, Odunade, broke down the association in light of a legitimate concern for harmony. He allowed care of the main kid to Ayeni and the last two to Sade.

The court requested the applicant Ojo to pay N10,000 as month to month taking care of stipend.
