Famous Ghanaian pastor shoot wife died in United States

6A famous US-based Ghanaian minister distinguished as Sylvester Ofori has been captured after he shot his significant other Barbara Tommey dead.

The occurrence occurred outside the 27-year-elderly person’s work environment at the Navy Federal Credit Union, close to the Mall at Millenia in Orlando, on Tuesday eighth September 2020.

Barbara was shot by Sylvester, close to the business’ front entryways on the 4600 square of Gardens Park Boulevard not long before 9 a.m., an Orlando Police Department representative said.

Tommey was articulated dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center not long after she was hurried there for clinical consideration.

Ofori, 35, was arrested at his loft Tuesday evening, the OPD representative said. He is being held at the Orange County Jail without bond on a charge of first-degree murder with a gun.

During a question and answer session Tuesday morning, Chief Orlando Rolón said the shooting was caught on CCTV.

“You can tell that she was astonished by what was occurring,” he said.


The Navy Federal Credit Union delivered an announcement on the shooting.

The announcement peruses: “toward the beginning of today, a colleague was lethally harmed during a demonstration of viciousness outside our Millenia branch, by a man she knew, as indicated by the police.

“Our considerations are with our colleague’s family. Our main need is keeping both our individuals and colleagues safe. We will guarantee all colleagues at the branch are given the help they need during this time. Any additional data can be given by the Orlando Police Department.”

Minister Sylvester has apparently been mishandling his significant other for quite a while. Because of the maltreatment, Barbara was convinced by her family to leave him. In any case, Sylvester followed her to her work environment yesterday and shot her multiple times.

A lady named Lisa, who saw the shooting, stated: “I’m stirred up the present moment, I’m despite everything stirred up.”

She said she saw Barbara come outside to move her vehicle before she was shot.

“The following thing I knew, he lifted his hand with the firearm in it, and he fired her,” she said.

“The person was strolling behind her. I don’t have the foggiest idea whether she realized he was there or not. I began running and as I’m running, I hear three or four additional shots.”

Lisa commended the perished lady.

She stated: “She was in every case extremely pleasant when I came into the bank. She’s pleasant, extremely decent.
