Buhari’s arrangement of judges is unlawful – Court rules

 

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday September 23, decided that President Muhammadu Buhari negated the law by sending the names of 11 chosen people chose for arrangement as high court judges of the Federal Capital Territory to the Senate for affirmation.

Administering on a claim recorded by an Abuja-based legal counselor, Oladimeji Ekengba who battled that the sending of the names of the 11 candidates by Buhari to the Senate was in penetrate of area 256(2) of the Nigerian Constitution, Justice Inyang Ekwo concurred with the offended party that Buhari acted in repudiation of the arrangement of Section 256(2) of the Constitution by sending the 11 names to the Senate.
