A 31-year-old businessperson Tashume “Glad” Bambore was on Thursday, September 17, condemned to life in jail for assaulting a 5-year-old young lady who went to his store to purchase ice lollies and rolls in Phakamisa, outside King William’s Town. Eastern Cape.
Police representative Captain Khaya Tonjeni, said Bambore tricked the young lady into a room where he assaulted her on 11 March a year ago.
“A 36-year-old client entered the shop and saw Bambore showing up from the room while pulling up his jeans. The 5-year-old additionally showed up from the room with him,” said Tonjeni.
“The client at that point promptly called a 29-year-old individual Phakamisa inhabitant and they took the kid to her mom. The youngster at that point revealed to her mom what had happened,” National Prosecuting Authority representative Anelisa Ngcakani said.
