People of color Matter: Lewis Hamilton wears Breonna Taylor shirt as he calls for equity at Formula One race (photographs)

 

Recipe one symbol, Lewis Hamilton on Sunday September 13, brought the ‘People of color matter’ development to the cutting edge of Formula One as he wore a shirt of Breonna Taylor, a young lady who was appallingly killed by police.

Breonna, 26, passed on in March in the wake of being shot by cops a few times when they entered her loft in Louisville, Kentucky.

On Sunday, Hamilton, 35, won the Formula One Tuscan GP yet recognized the Black Lives Matter development before commending his success.

As he gathered his trophy from the platform, Lewis made the dark force salute wearing a shirt which read: ‘Capture the cops who murdered Breonna Taylor,’ on the front and had a picture of the young lady’s face on the back with the motto ‘State Her Name’.

He additionally ‘took the knee’before the race started.

In an Instagram post, Hamilton further talked about Taylor’s homicide; ‘It’s been a half year since Breonna Taylor was killed by police officers, in her own home. Still no equity has been served. We won’t remain quiet. #JusticeForBreonnaTaylor.’ he composed
