“I drug them with tramadol tablets and syrup” – Notorious looter captured in Kano, talks


The Niger State Police Command have captured a presumed looter who represents considerable authority in sedating his casualties before taking their cash.

The suspect, Abdullahi Maikudi, 27, of Katsina State was captured close by his accessory Rabiu Abdullahi, 23, of Kano State for taking the aggregate of N 6 m from a money manager in Tegina, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger state.

Representative of the order, ASP Wasiu Abiodun, who affirmed the occurrence in an announcement on Thursday, October 1, said the suspects were caught by police agents appended to the Area Command, Minna, following a clue, including that the police recuperated N3.8 m and 410 Cefas from them.

As per ASP Abiodun, Maikudi, held up in a lodging in Tegina, where he met a financial specialist on September 25. He was said to have observed the person in question and set up companionship with the person in question, saying they were from a similar state.

During their collaboration, he offered the casualty some tea bound with tramadol. The buisnessman nodded off inside 10 minutes of taking the beverage.

“He offered him some tea loaded down with tramadol which makes the man nodded off. The presume later went into the man’s room and took his sack containing around 6,000,000 naira and fled to Kano State, where he met Rabiu Abdullahi who was helping him to escape the nation. The two suspects were captured at Fagge, Kano State and the entirety of #3,850,000:00k and 410 cefas were recouped from them. Case is under scrutiny.” the announcement peruses.

Addressing newsmen, Maikudi admitted how he that he typically medicated his casualties before seizing them of their resources. He professed to have been doing this for more than four years.

“Every one of my casualties since I began this business, I drug them with tramadol tablets or syrup so they will nod off in a short time and by at that point, I would have completed my activity. I generally put it in their tea or food,” he said.
