Ebonyi state’s longest serving ruler dies at 81

Ebonyi state’s longest serving ruler, His Royal Highness, Eze Israel Chibueze Agbo, the Ogaba Idu II of Izhia in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state has passed on at 81 years old.

Eze Chibueze Agbo who turned into the Ogaba Idu II of Izhia in 1978, passed on Tuesday September 1 in the wake of going through 42 years on the seat. The ruler’s passing was declared at his Umuagaraeze castle in Ohaukwu and it was accumulated that he will be covered on Saturday November 28.

The principal child of the late ruler, Prince Chinedu Chibueze Agbo who made the declaration close by the conventional Prime Minister of Izhia Kingdom, Chief Emmaunel Onweka, said;

”For the benefit of the Ogaba’s family, of Umuagaraeze Izhia,Ohaukwu nearby government territory Ebonyi state ,I remain here to declare the demise of our dad, HRH Eze Chibueze Agbo, Ogaba Idu II of Izhia, today first September 2020. He is a previous director Ohaukwu customary rulers council,former administrator of Ebonyi north zone conventional rulers committee and one time executive of conventional leaders of old Abakaliki zone. He was made the customary ruler in 1978. What’s more, he served the network for a long time. He passed on at 81 years old. May his spirit find happiness in the hereafter.”
