Court remands man, 54, for purportedly assaulting 6-year-old vagrant inside chapel in Port Harcourt

 

A Magistrates’ Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Thursday, September 17, remanded a 54-year-elderly person, Sunny Gogo for purportedly assaulting a 6-year-old young lady.

It was assembled that the occurrence occurred at the Redeemers Household Greater Glory Ministry in Ozuboko, Abuloma in Port Harcourt on August 31, 2020. The casualty is supposed to be a vagrant.

In spite of the fact that the suspect argued not liable to the charges, the court suspended the case to the seventh October 2020 for continuation of hearing.

Boss officer Amaka Amanze turned down bail application for the charged regardless of his supplication.

She held that the filling was flawed since the casualty is a kid and asked the legitimate guidance to the denounced to permit the examiner and the FIDA to concur on appropriate charges.
